The Franklin J. Schaffner Alumni Medal is awarded annually to an alumnus of either the AFI Conservatory or the AFI Conservatory Directing Workshop for Women, who best embodies the qualities of the late director: talent, taste, dedication and commitment to quality filmmaking. Established by Schaffner’s widow, Jean, in 1991, the Alumni Medal celebrates the recipient’s extraordinary creative porno talents and artistic achievements.

Official transcripts and verifications are provided by the Registrar’s Office, and are released only on written authorization by the alumnus/a whose record is requested. There is no charge for transcripts or verifications. The American Film Institute reserves the right to deny official transcript and verification services for indebtedness to the Institute. Transcripts and verifications are processed within five working days after they are requested.

The AFI Class of 2015 recipients and their mentors are: Brennan Peters and Raelle Tucker (AFI DWW, Class of 2003), Tegan Shohet and Mikkel Bondesen (AFI Class of 1998), Andy Siara and Alex Herschlag (AFI TVW, Class of 1989), and Christina Strain and Norberto Barba (AFI Class of 1990).
